Here's a recap of our Wedding story...
03-01-07
It started with a casual dinner after work at Bugis Junction. Then, there were some bridal road shows being displayed at Parco. We were approached by a Bliss Bridal Creations staff. After much persuasion by "Chen" da jie, we signed a bridal package at $3288.
Soon after that, we were scouting for our Wedding bands.
And bought them in PS LH.
11-09-07
A FengShui Master was sought for getting a date for our customary wedding at Tanjong Katong Complex.
These dates were given as suitable customary dates.
1) 14-09-08 -> Chinese Lunar 15th day of the 8th month
2) 11-11-08 -> 14th day of the 10th lunar month
3) 07-12-08 -> 10th day of the 11th lunar month
Eventually, we chosed the first choice as this is the best date for the both of us.
22-11-07 (Hotel Banquet Booking)
I have to thank my wife for spending much efforts in calling the hotels for booking. I was quite busy then that I wasn't been much help to my wife, thus she was very angry at me then.
15th of 8th month was an auspicious hot date for dinners/banquets. Thus we were really out of luck in getting a good hotel. We've considered some places like Mandai Zoo, Yacht club, Orchid Garden.. However, after considering the ease of accessibility of our guests, we decided not to take.
Blame me for my laziness, in the end we run out of choices and finally settled at Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel. We took some risk then as the ballroom was under refurbishment and we could'nt see how the layout is like until next February.
We paid deposits for our ROM package and Bandquet package then.
And we also settle our photographer(PG) with wifey's friend, Roy.

Soon time flies, the ballroom was ready and there was a bridal showcase at Grand Mercure
The banquet manager then (changed a couple of times! scary man) showed us the layout of the ballroom and my wife signed a Body Contour package for 2 there as well.
After the ballroom viewing, we went a couple of places for scout for our Queen size mattress and finally bought a mattress at Rocher road. Some free gifts came with the mattress like 2pc Latex pillow, 1pc bolster, 1pc cover & Protector.
14-03-08
A fortnight later, time for my wife's bridal gown selections. Wifey brought magzines to show the designs that she has short listed. But unfortunately, they do not have the design she likes which was a low back type. She had fun trying many other gowns too. Our co-ordinator was very helpful. After trying all, wifey finally selected her day and 3 short-listed evening gowns.

The next day, my wife went to Leaping Lizard to buy her heels for the wedding. There are hundreds of designs. Wifey try and try. Finally settled with one of the new arrivals. Heels of 3.75" are customed-made to fit perfectly to wifey's feet.

Time to choose wifey's outdoor gown. As our co-ordinator was not around, another younger staff attended to my wifey. Wifey was quite pissed with her. That girl only brought out 3 sets of gowns which are similar to her AD gown, therefore wifey don't want and ask for other designs. But the girl keep telling wifey that there are no more when there are still plenty off!! And keep repeating that outdoor shoot don't focus on the gown but the background more. After trying many long and short gowns for a few hours there and she still cant get gown. Wifey was so pissed and tells the girl that she wants to cancel the photo shoot which was 2 days later. Only than, the girl panicked and asked the designer for help. After talking and knowing what's the situation, the designer took out 3 other gowns for wifey to try, within 10 mins, wifey selected her gown and we are out of there.
04-05-08
This is the day we went for the photo shooting. Took our studio shots in the morning, and outdoor shoots in the afternoon. Places for our outdoor are: Dempsey hill, Labrador park and Fullerton. It was fun but tiring. And my poor wifey's feets were full of blisters after a whole day of walking and posing in her 3" heels.

Time for photo selection. We spend at least 3 hours there to select our 31 poses for our 28 pcs album. Filter, filter and further filter. But we still can't resist the temptation and paid an additional $480 for 40pcs of un-touchup samples photos in another album.
19-07-08
Went to select the design of our wedding invitation cards.
We got 2 designs for our invitation cards. Traditional styled red cards for relatives and Modern designed Pink for friends and colleagues. ;)

Back to BBC to select ROM, evening gown and kua. This time round was a quicker one. Took about 2 hours and wifey found her gowns. Brought back the ROM gown and suit, but noticed they did not provide any accessories for wifey, went back the next day to ask them for accessories.

Finally, our ROM day has arrived. We checked into the hotel @ 2pm. After that, we went over to parkway shopping centre to collect the hand bouquet. MUA arrived at
the hotel at 4pm and PG at 5pm. Preparation for our solemnization begins. Wifey hand sew the whole ring pillow as well. So nice!! After the solemnization, than wifey released she forgot her hand bouquet!!!!! :D Poor flower nobody remember it.

The day for Guo Da Li is here. We opt to give traditional Pandan cakes over cream ones, reason is simple :-) will not damage the cakes during transport. hee.. ;p

Went for final fitting and collected the gowns and my suits. With 1 set of accessories for wifey. Wifey asked for another set to go with evening gown, but they just tell us don't have. So no choice. But luckily, our MUA lend her a set of accessories to suit the evening gown.
